Painted in Provincetown, MA, 46 Pearl St., August 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,12, 13, 14, 15,17, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 "fini" (journal). Eileen Hall Lake was a poet, author of"The Fountain and the Bough * Poems." Lake is seated on the Dickinson's red velvet sofa which belonged to ED's grandparents in the 1840s.
