Notes

Painted in Buffalo, NY. Signature is incised in the paint but date is not. The Dickinsons did not live in Buffalo in 1943 (and due to war were unlikely to go there) but did live there in 1934. The date "1943" in pencil or ink is surely an inadvertent reversal by ED.
