[The lighthouse of 1875 is at the very tip of Cape Cod. To its right is a triangular structure called a "fog-bell tower." It held a 2,000 pound bell struck by an automated mechanism every thirty seconds during heavy"peasoop"fog. The man at left of the bell is likely the lighthouse keeper.]
