Drawn in Provincetown, MA, January 25, from upstairs window of houseof Mr. & Mrs. John Dos Passos, formerly the house of the Smooleys. In 1932 the Dickinsons lived in an apartment owned by J. Francis. In 1947, being still in arrears on the rent, ED gave John Francis this drawing of 1936, which was inherited by his sister.Provenance
